Consorta Awards Nurse Call Systems Agreement

Schaumburg, Ill., June 14, 2005 – Consorta, a leading group purchasing and resource management organization in the health care industry, has awarded an agreement for nurse call systems to West-Com Nurse Call Systems, Inc., Danville, Calif.
“We’re pleased to add West-Com, which offers highly rated patient communications systems, to our portfolio of suppliers,” said Patrick McCarthy, director of capital equipment contracting for Consorta. “This agreement will provide our members with greater value and choice in nurse call systems.”
Consorta’s membership, which includes more than 520 acute-care hospitals and more than 300 extended care facilities in the United States, can expect significant savings through the three-year agreement, which becomes effective July 1, 2005.
