DeTekion Security Systems, Inc. (DeTekion) and Auratek Security have announced that DeTekion has finalized the purchase of the assets of Auratek Security. Auratek Security LLC will operate as a division of DeTekion.
DeTekion was formed in 1993 and Auratek Security Inc. has been dedicated to the research, development and manufacture of outdoor perimeter protection systems since 1995. The acquisition of the Auratek product line is a logical step in the long term strategy in the perimeter security arena for DeTekion. DeTekion’s already extensive client base has been significantly broadened by Auratek’s dealer network that markets to V.I.P. residences, utilities and high profile clients.
Auratek’s product line of buried RF sensors will fit seamlessly with DeTekion business and affords DeTekion excellent opportunities for continued growth. It would be hard to find a more complementary match for these two organizations than what this combination provides.
