Healthcare - Versus Technology Product Updates

Versus Technology announces the release of the VER-4426 Hi-Efficiency IR Sensor. The VER-4426 is less susceptible to electromagnetic interference (EMI), making it the only sensor on the market today offering dependable readings in environments where EMI is prevalent. This sensor replaces the current model, VER-4422.

Also, Versus introduces Version 12 of the VER-8015 Configuration Utilities which now comes bundled with the VER-8000 Data Server. Major improvements have been added to save significant time during the set-up and modification processes — a point that installation teams and system administrators will appreciate.

• Room Filter Utility - One of the major competitive advantages of VIS™ is that it allows users to filter any group of sensors to generate a report. With the new wild card wizard it's easy, for instance, for a charge nurse to view the information she needs specifically for the rooms on her unit.
• Mass Badge Utility - A dynamic tool that makes badge assignment and maintenance more efficient by enabling users to make the same change to a group of badges all at once. Simplifies asset management for biomedical technicians by allowing them to, for example, change the preventive maintenance date on a group of IV pumps at once.
• Names Utility - A quick, user-friendly tool for initial setups. The Names Utility has a mass names editor that allows you to put similar names into the system easily (great for nurse badges and Remote Stations). A text or comma delimited import feature makes it simple to add patient and staff names from a file.
• Sensor Receiver Utility - Reduces manual entry by allowing users to import directly from facility records to put receiver names into the system quickly.
